In 2012, seeking a new home away from the war unfolding in Syria, our family relocated to the LA area. Soon after, we opened Aleppo's Kitchen in the Little Arabia neighborhood of Anaheim, CA.  With Aleppo's Kitchen, we wanted to bring authentic Syrian food particular to the city of Aleppo, as well as the aesthetic and ambiance of a traditional Syrian restaurant, to the Little Arabia neighborhood of Anaheim.

In 2017 Aleppo's Kitchen was named one of the best places to eat near Disneyland by Food & Wine magazine, and is a local favorite today.

With our second restaurant, Mangal, we're featuring some of the family favorites from Aleppo's Kitchen, as well as the street food we grew up eating and love, in a contemporary fast-casual dining experience. Come by the Anaheim Packing House and say hello!

MANGAL

- Arabic for barbecue. Specifically, a grill with grooves for holding skewers over an open flame. Like BBQ in American English, Mangal refers to both the grill and the event itself.

Nothing from a can.  No hormones. No shortcuts. Our cuisine is handmade from the freshest ingredients available. Each single chickpea must meet our high standards before it's used in our hummus. The meat we serve is sourced & butchered locally by a halal butcher. You can taste the difference.
